I had a set of a Gut Twin strings from Ivan at Cordes Lamberts last May but sold them on as I didn't enjoy the feel (they felt a bit plasticky to me but then I don't slap so I wasn't really the target audience). I would drop a line to Ivan at [email protected]. He responded to my emails (not immediately, mind you, normally took a couple of days)

He was very quick to respond to me when I ordered a set last year, he's quite a funny guy too.

Like Clarky I'm not a big fan of the feel of the strings but they sound great slapped. I've still got my set on my laminate bass.

Still available by emailing Ivan. I use a set on my folding bass and just got a spare set off him just a few weeks ago.

I use La Bella strings, i have the bridge where it should be and i don't cheat like so many other players by shaving it down to bring the action lower and then you only hear clicking similar to a couple of sticks! why do people do this? Anyway, i would like to try a set of the Cordes lambert strings if most of you feel they would give enough depth when played Psychobilly/punkabilly style? TIA
