One of my old Stingray was on "sale" on eBay when someone nicked pictures from my Gumtree listing. Happens all the time. Also, you can tell it is a bit dodgy. Zero feedback, and ridiculously low starting price for a bass like that in that kind of condition. Edited July 1, 2008 by s_u_y_* Quote

Did you manage to get onto ebay to stop the auction?[/quote] Messaged them, but no reply. The auction was a 3 day auction so was going to end soonish. The ex-owner of the bass (who was the one who informed me it was on eBay) and I worked to together to place really high bids on the item so no-one else would bid on it. Did the trick, but then the b*****d reported my other Gumtree listings as being fraudulent, which they promptly cancelled without any proof. The whole experience left a bitter taste in my mouth. All eBay care about are their listing fees. Basschat does more to combat fraud than I see eBay do usually. Edited July 1, 2008 by s_u_y_* Quote

Hamster Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 I don't think sellers can leave buyers bad feedback now? - I'll raise the highest bid by £50k Hamster Quote
