Hey y'all, I'm new here as you can tell and i'm in a bit of a pickle.
I recently bought a Squire Vintage Modified TB Bass and unfortunetly the pick up has buggered up.
Does anyone know where I might be able to find a replacement? Or any pickups that could replace it?
I believe its a TEB 101B Humbucking Pickup.

Thanks for any replys =)

you could send it to Andy at wizard pickups (linky) as he can repair pretty much anything, alternatively a Dimarzio model one would be a decent fit IIRC

If you didn't muck it up yourself, and you bought it new in the last year, can you not get it fixed under guarantee?

I have actually enquired with the shop about it, not got a reply yet.
I put on a bridge cover, which obviously involves screwing into the body, so i'm not sure if that voids the warranty if there was one.

Very unlikely.

+1 for Andy at Wizard though; he'll certainly be able to improve on the original.

I bought my TB from Andy67 here on basschat and I believe he had a Dimarzio Model One fitted to it before I bought it. Might be worth dropping him a message to see how well that fitted and how it sounded?

Andy :)
