Indy Posted January 8, 2014 Share Posted January 8, 2014 A bit leftfield, going through a phase of trying to learn bass lines by ear and I'm currently trying standing on your head by The seahorses. I love the sound of the bass throughout the album does anyone know, or could hazard a guess to what kind of bass is being played on it? Don't know what was on the recording though. I was at school at the time and very much part of the metal brigade so listening to such bands was not allowed. I played with them very briefly in the early days, he had a black Stingray, changed to the 70s Jazz mid-way through recording album i think, so it's anybody's guess. I would say, just go your own way with the sound, get as close as you can, but play the way you play. [/quote] I forget you're a Yorkie, too! It's got some dents it. Big gouge out of the fretboard which was taped up when I last saw it.
