joeystrange
Does anybody know if a Fender P (either MIA or MIM standard) is available in Olympic White as a standard colour? All I can seem to find are a bunch of Arctic White ones. The Squier VM is Olympic and it looks great. I want that look on a Fender. Thanks. Was previously owned by Evil Undead. joeystrange
Cheers for that. That's one nice looking bass! I'm getting confused now though... The Squier VM is Olympic White and it's a brilliant white. Both Olympic and Arctic White on Fenders look slightly off-white, which I think Arctic is supposed to be. Is it just my eyes? Lozz196
Olympic should be "creamier" than Arctic.
joeystrange
Hmmm... The Arctic ones don't look as white as I want either. What the hell do I want?!
Spike Vincent
The one in my profile pic is Olympic White, albeit aged 36 years and slightly darker.
basshead56
You definitely want Olympic White. I've got an Arctic white standard Jazz and it isn't as white as I would have like either. Also had a CIJ Precision in Olympic White andit would make the boffins at Daz or Persil cry it was so brilliantly white!
Maude
I had a similar issue when choosing my Squier Bass VI, I wanted that creamy aged Olympic white, with a tort guard I love it, but the Squier Oly white is very bright, a lot more so than the Fender version, Fender also do 'Aged Oly white' which is creamier than the standard Fender Oly white. The Squier Oly white is so much cleaner/brighter that I ended up going for Sunburst. If you want a very clean white then the Squier is the best bet out of the three I mentioned.
