urb Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Just a small addition to this topic - I've just seen this article regarding just how little artists see from the squillions of views they get on Youtube and or from Google allegedly serving up thousands of illegal download websites http://thetrichordist.com/2014/01/16/while-artists-are-bitching-about-spotify-royalties-google-youtube-and-grooveshark-are-in-the-getaway-car/ So actually having some legal way of getting paid for your WORK being used to appear on the radio/TV/film etc etc seems like a drop in the ocean when there are so many very easy ways to access pretty much any music out there for FREE. Just me thoughts on the subject obviously Quote
