41.2Hz
Hi guys, Newbie here, so be gentle with me! I thought I'd post some Fender porn - my trusty '78 Precision, and a lovely MIM Jazz Deluxe.
budget bassist
nice basses there i think that P would look cool with the ashtrays back on IMO by the way, but it's your bass, i rather like black on black precisions though, much nicer than the generic white on black. Also what pickups are those in the jazz? They appear to have different size/numbers of pole pieces and in the wrong places.
41.2Hz
Nah - I much prefer the P sans ashtrays. As far as I know the Jazz is stock. It was an ebay purchase, and I certainly haven't made any changes. If it helps, here's a closeup.
Mokl
Nice looking basses - those Deluxe Jazzes sound great. FWIW those pickups are standard on that particular model.

mathewsanchez
Thats my favourite look for a precision. Just slap a tort on that jazz and you've got my favourite looking fenders.
steve-soar
That wallpaper does not match the pickguard on the Jazz. So tort it up.

Also those pickups must only come on the jazz deluxe or something? Not seen them before.

I'm delighted with my Black/black '07 P, I've very little desire for much else, but if there's one thing I still lust after, it's a 70's P like that. Dr.Dave
I'm quite changing my tune and getting into the look of black/black/maple Fenders. Must be old age. I saw a guy playing one a few weeks back and I was actually jealous for a second. For a second !!!!!! If you only have black and white Fenders does that mean the licence is cheaper???? Nice brace - matey.
