Jamesemt
I took the plunge and bought a Lexicon Alpha external soundcard complete with Cubase. Could do with adding drums to a track I'm playing with, but don't know where to start. Any advice? A live drummer is out of the question for the time being. OldG
Try the Addictive Drums demo - doesn't time out and easy enough to use ( only one kit to play with but it'll get drums onto your song for free)

Oscar South
EZDrummer is pretty good, doesn't cubase come with some internal synthesizers though? I use sonar and the built in drums are actually pretty decent. Edited July 2, 2008 by Oscar South

bnt
I've used Waldorf Attack before, which was great for electronic drums. It's quite cheap: you can get it with their excellent PPG Wave synth, plus a filter plugin, in the Waldorf Edition. £32.00 from Dolphin. Or, what about the Steinberg Groove Agent (a.k.a. Virtual Drummer)? The review looks good.
