Me And My Bass
Alright guys, Bass direct are out of Genz Benz gig bags. Anyone got any recommendations for bags / cases that will do the job for my streamliner 900 I have coming? Cheers! Mudpup
I use one of these for both my GB Shuttle 9.2 and Gallien MB Fusion500. Its the same as a Maplins one for £35 and has room for the amp and a couple of pedals/tunes if you dont put the amp in the middle of the case. Me And My Bass
Thanks for that mudpup, Iv seen some of these style cases for cameras that have loops at the top so I can attach a strap as well. Will look at them as well.

Loads of protection and light.

Roland Rock
I've had two. The first was the Protec small mixer PA1212. It offers near flight case protection, but does bulk up the volume a bit. I think they're discontinued :-( I now use the Protec for my mini pedal board, so for the Streamliner, I bought a Gator bag: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gator-12x12x5-5-inches-Padded-Equipment/dp/B0002EJVL8/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1389597151&sr=8-2&keywords=gator+mixer+bag Perfect size. Thinly padded compared to the Protec, but fine for light gigging duties. Edited January 13, 2014 by Roland Rock
Roland Rock
Oh, and I have a Genz bag. This has the least protection of all.
Muzz
I've got one of those laptop rucksacks, which it fits in nicely, along with cables, pedals, etc.
bertbass
I used an old power tool case that I had laying around. That and a couple of sheets of foam and I'm good to go. It's also free so even better.
