Hi All,

I'm looking to buy a second hand wireless system to see how I get on with it. I've concluded that I want to go with samson from recommendations/reviews etc.

I've found one of these online: http://www.zzounds.com/item--SAMSWQSBG (Airline AP1B Bass)

and I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me to the difference between that and this one here: http://www.zzounds.com/item--SAMAIR77SAG1 (Aireline 77)

Obviously the size is different, but looking at the cost of them they're the same. Does anyone know if they pretty much are the same?

Any opinions or helpful comments would be great as I'm completely lost in the world of wireless.

Cheers,
Mike.

I have had both of those and the only real difference I could find was the pedal size one has a position on the switch to allow you a preshape.

Unfortunately I found both of these a bit noisey, and if you can, go for a digital like the line 6 or the stageclix. IMO woth the extra for a really quiet unit and to my ears no discolouration

I've read about the noise, is it really that bad?

Stageclix would be my ideal choice because of the lack of batteries and the overall quality that i've read about. It's just that I don't really have the money to buy one and haven't seen any pre-owned ones around.

i have a samson airline (ap1b) at the moment, no noticible noise problems here though. it works fine, i would like to go digital though
