You have to audition, and from what I remember, they are week-day auditions, 3 songs.

I played it years ago (without audition) and didn't rate it. Back then the audience seemed to consist of foreign tourists.

Was it called rock house back in the day? When I was young, and before I could play , I always wanted to play there. Never do unfortunately . Usedt to llove working around there years ago

No, the Rock Garden opened up Mid 70's some time, and it's the other side of the Garden from the Roadhouse.

The Rock Garden at Covent Garden! what a hole that was - lugging your kit for miles over a load of cobbles as there was no where to park, playing to a load of tourists who wandered in bemused because Dire Straits played there once ten years before and having to buy tickets off them to "sell" to people for our fee - I wonder why we only played there once!

Rock Garden was the north side with Roadhouse on the south.
Did the Roadhouse years back one Saturday a month, and a good gig back then for the band i was with.
Went direct with no audition but things have probably changed.
