The Walloper Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Saw this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ThX61ZzhVM) which is some sort of custom version of the SFX Red Drago and I really like the tone. How is this in comparison to the Micro SFX Red Dragon and is there anything better out there I should be looking at? Quote
sk8 Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 its the same just smaller. Ive had two red dragons and they excel in the low gain OD field. Quote
Okay that will make a difference but the fundemental tone is the same. I've had an early version and a special one with a DI and it had the same core sound Quote
Lozz196 Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Sounds good and doesn`t seem to have its own colouring to the sound - something that really irritates me about many overdrives - I want "my" sound but driven, not changed and driven. Looks like this pedal is ideal for that. Quote
ratman Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 I have a Micro RD, and it's fab. Sounds like a valve amp channel. And it's tiny too. Quote
