I've finally bitten the bullet and sorted out the past 10 years of digital photos ready for printing. It was a major undertaking. I went online to look for a photoprinting company - but it's a minefield!

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I have 380 photos to print - so I don't want to get it wrong. The range of prices is vast. How can you tell what kind of quality you're going to get? Which companies have easy-to-use websites?

You're my last hope.

I use snapfish and they're pretty good, if your photos are on flickr they can be imported from there or you can upload them to the snapfish site.

I've been using Photobox for years and have been very pleased with them. I tend to only go for individual enlargements and prefer to print collections in their Photobooks. It takes a bit of time to sort the layouts and any captions but the end result is really good. I've had enlargements printed to 30x20 inches and the quality has always been very good. They also regularly do special offers so I tend to prepare the prints I want and just wait - half price photobooks are worth waiting for. ;)

The three places I've used are:

tesco, good quality but my local store only offer one size of prints.

Jessops, very good quality but a little expensive

Costco, order online collect in store, cheap, good range of sizes, very good quality, excellent value for money. Only downside is needing a membership or knowing someone who is a member

My local Boots the chemist does prints from memory cards, phones etc., you can either do it via the till or actually do it yourself at a PC type printing machine, I'm sure most other Boots offer the same service :)

Thanks guys. There aren't any local retail outlets near where I live. Photobox looked quite good - so I'm uploading to them now, or trying to anyway.....

Well that would appear to be a very good recommendation
