Jim Cairnes - Where is this now?

Simple question - cd_David ended up with this, I think. . . . . but not sure.

I have something that is similar - mine has two EMG but up until yesterday
lunch time, I had not seen another - I found it through google images.

Not looking to buy it, just would like to know a little more about it.

if you want to know more about jim cairns......ask howard(the bass doc)....jim used to make a fair few necks when howard was
building basses,also jim used to make rather good pickups!

I'm pretty sure this was a bass commissioned by a customer of mine way back when I had the business of The Bass Place in Newcastle. Jim Cairnes built the neck and I did the rest. But no idea where it is now.

Aha, I think mine was done on the same [i]bassis[/i]!
The body on this one, seems to have the same features as mine.
You may have done it?

I'll post up some pics, at some point.
