xilddx
Love this, it's a collaboration between Skol and urb with transatlantic friends. Cracking stuff .. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8Cqe5u2nOE

Would love to see Dick Venom live, and then of course there's that Kit Richardson! But I think my current favourite is Burrito Bass' Case Hardin - looking forward to seeing them in Lewes in May. Clarky
I've seen a few BassChat bands live - every one really good, even if not all the usual stuff I would listen to Nige's Kit Richardson, Pete Academy's Stealing Dan, Happy Jack's Junkyard Dogs, BigRedX's Dick Venom & Terrortones, Burrito's Case Hardin, Pigbag (when discreet played with them) and for a dose of power-pop/punk Low End Bee's The Jetsonics http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zCMgQSWk4ug
Clarky
Sorry Clarky I actually preferred the previous outfit.
No need to apologise! Rattlin Bone were a very good band but a logistic nightmare which was the root cause of the dissolution (up to 17 people on stage, living as far afield as Scotland, the South Coast and London). Very swampy, although I personally prefer ATQR as its lighter and fresher

Again, they are ace live and I have a couple of the eps. This is one of my favourites of theirs.
Roland Rock
I've seen Dick Venom several times and they put on a superb show. Another favourite is Patient Zero (shep/pantherairsoft) whose 'Scarecrow Tactics' EP is right up my street. Tacsi are great too

lojo
Great thread, I often check links in sigs and enjoy some of the stuff. Id be very happy to listen to more music made by members and those they know Wish I was involved with an originals project, but Ive too many plates in the air already, and god knows how Id find one, everyone I know plays covers
BigRedX
As well as those already mentioned and pimped in this thread - Kit Richardson, ATQR, Rattling Bone, Jetsonics; Let me mention jackduran's band Super 8 Cynics and their fantastic 80s flavoured pop. Here's their video for Doing What I've Always Done: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1ANUFGGeTQ
Mornats
I'd have to say it's the lovely Kit Richardson for me. Mega-crush! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8bZnXmTfE5M Also, I'm pretty sure these guys - Ninja Baby - are a band I found on here but I can't for the life of me remember which member plays bass for them. https://soundcloud.com/ninjababymusic/shadows-
paulbuzz
I'm extremely fond of Dave Vader's band Carnivala. Also loving the Jetsonics video posted above!
xilddx
Ahhhh found it! I love this, it was posted by travismoore in Aug 2012. It's crying out for a decent mix, but I love it nevertheless. Love the song and the vocals. neepheid
Another vote for The Jetsonics - I had the pleasure of meeting the lads when they came up to deepest, darkest Aberdeenshire and put on a fine show.
BassTractor
Already mentioned: In Tyler We Trust, All the Queen's Ravens Tacsi - this music haunts me daily, so it must have something! (BTW, Steve, I have not forgotten. Sorry for the delay. My not performing haunts me too.) Other faves of mine that I've blindly not seen mentioned yet: Abandoned Stars: alpha male tea party: Our Helical Mind: Edited January 22, 2014 by BassTractor
Silvia Bluejay
Anyone mentioned Stingray5 (Steve)'s prog outfit, Landmarq? We saw them recently at the Peel in Kingston and I'm still in awe of their musicianship. Oh, and the songs aren't bad either! http://landmarq.net/home.htm
I never realised that, I've had a copy of Entertaining Angels for a while, very good album and would definitely see the band if they gigged somewhere local to me. Come to think of it I've never seen the Earthband either with or without our own SteveK but I think most of their gigs are in Europe these days. And while we're in prog mode i like some of the stuff that was online by Bassassin's (Jon) band Maya29 but again I think the chances of them playing locally to me is unlikely. There used to be a member called Alan who at the time was in Panic Room which is a good band but he left both the forum and the band to pursue other musical projects.
