tonyclaret
Hi, going update by current batch of cables as some keep failing. What something low profile, the hosa brand seem to be quite popular for the pan shaped ones. Any alternatives or reviews on Hosa? Thanks Tony
JapanAxe
I use Lava plugs. Plus points: solderless, quick to make up in the right length*, very low capacitance, very ow profile, plugs do not block neighbouring sockets Minus points: *but takes a while to build up the skill level, wallet-worryingly expensive Edited January 18, 2014 by JapanAxe
woodyratm
I use George L's and lava. Both pretty expensive but the george's are easier to make in a hurry!
Wooks79
I've just got a load of diago patch factory stuff, seems good to me once I'd worked out how to make it properly Never used lava or George L's so can't compare quality, but in theory they are the same thing, not too cheap either. Guinness21
What about plane waves? The hosa irg's look cool
p58
have you tried those little "lava like" cables from moeer? http://www.mooeraudio.com/en/ProductInfo.asp?id=86 I would be very interested if they can be compared witch george l´s or lava in audio quality. Nessy
Making your own cables is a good idea if you're willing to solder; it's pretty simple and much cheaper than buying higher quality pre-made patch cables.

1976fenderhead
The pan-shaped ones I have tend to stick out of the jack more so they don't save that much space. I've been using Adam Hall cables with Switchcraft plugs for years: http://www.djmmusic.com/p-3744-adam-hall-jack-to-jack-patch-cable.aspx?gclid=CJfXkuTgiLwCFdShtAodPAMAQA
Guinness21
What about pedal couplers? Does anybody use them, they'd allow you to position pedals closer together on the board
Guest FretNoMore
I keep changing my board, so George Ls works for me.
