I would have thought that would just give you a hum that disappears when you put your hand on the strings. I did some experiments before, and found that putting a deko into the shopping basket doesn't reserve it. Presumably it's not until actual check-out that it gets reserved. Or, perhaps even later than that, depending on how well their database works. I've thought of some other experiments to undertake which might help refine demo-grabbing strategies for the future.
