[/quote] Yeah, I fell for the Overwater name as well, though only when they were selling off the last ones half price. First bass went back, on the second the electronics had to be replaced (done by Tanglewood under warrnaty), neck seriously worked on (paid for by me) and there are some other cosmetic issues. I should have got a Deko bass from Thomann instead! Quote

Coldflows Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 If anyone is interested, I have a good way of keeping an eye on it while I'm out and about, I downloaded a page tracking app for android and set it up to tell me when ever it changes from 1-3 to anything else, thus sending me a notification. It's pretty fast. Quote

Annoying Twit Posted June 21, 2015 Author Posted June 21, 2015 (edited) They started going on last night, but something odd happened with Thomann's site, and they were appearing and instantly disappearing again. So quickly that the auto-loaded webpage I saw didn't have them. They went up at 11:25:41pm, and then disappeared at 11:25:46pm, which is as fast as my program can detect them disappearing. They then returned at 12:13:18am, and disappeared at the exact same time. I'm not sure how that can happen. When they returned at 04:17:43am, they then stayed on the system. [/quote] I've returned Basses because of cosmetic issues that would make them B Stock, in fact thinking about I've returned B Stock items too. (I see the confusion re BK has been resolved) Quote
Coldflows Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 The jazz bass turned up today. Couple of Knicks all over but otherwise good, with a nasty case of fret buzz. Lifted the saddles and played with the truss rod and made no difference. Ended up putting a shim under the nut and after a bit more trus rod adjusting I got it playable apart from the 10-12 fret on the d and g strings. What does everyone know about filing frets? They seem a little uneven. I think the whole thing needs breaking in. Quote
