firewire strings in the UK?

hey all-

new here, just joined a few days ago but loving what i've seen so far


onto the topic, does anyone know of a place in the UK where i can get firewire strings? only one place i've found, stringbusters, and they're currently out of stock. i'm hesitant to order them off ebay all the way from canada, but that seems like it might be the only option.

i would wait, but i really need new strings atm and i'm also impatient! haha


and before anyone can say anything, yes, i know there are other strings out there that are very good as well, but really, i've been wanting to give these a go for some months now

but, if there's a string out there i don't know about that's strong, moderately bright, long lasting and under 25, i'm all ears!

alternatively, anything under 25 that's really good that anyone would reccommend? looking for something that won't be dead in a week or two, and that won't break easily.

i really want to try the firewires though, wish they'd come back in stock

Buyt some Hotwires from Status.... pretty decent and very in expensive

You will find lots of string factions on here. The DR, Elixir and TI Jazz Flats factions are probably the most prolific. I use Status Hotwire halfs and TI Jazz Flats, which dont sound like flats at all.

yeah on my kingbass..... I really like the feel of them and they sound great too..

gonna keep waiting on those firewires, but in the meantime am gonna get myself some of the status hotwire roundcores next week. can't wait! XD
