Preamp configurations

Just looking at preamping a J type bass but looking for something a bit different. I noticed that you can get an Audere unit that has 3 stacked pots: Master vol./tone; neck vol./bridge vol.; treble bass. Any body have any experience of this kind of set up? It's bit different from the vol./blend stack!

I don't have any experience with the Audere but I have a J-Retro in my Jazz. Really flexible tone control and a monstrous sound from a 9v circuit.

[font=arial,helvetica,sans-serif]I have the Pro-JZ3D in my custom jb.[/font] Love the smooth toneshaping and passive tone control and it works perfectly with nordstrand pickups. although I almost never use the mid control I can really recommend these preamps.
