Barefaced Vintage *SOLD*

I'm offering up my BF Vintage for trade, as I'd like to move to a slightly less imposing cab. I absolutely love this thing, but it's a bit over the top for my current needs. So much so, that my amp generally runs at about 20% at gigging volume!

As we all know, Barefaced cabs are extremely light. This is no exception, and the very shallow depth make it a breeze to carry single handedly. It fits in the boot of my Golf on its side, meaning there's loads of room for other kit.

I love the tone of the Vintage, so ideally I'd like to trade for a compact (or two!) but I'd consider other BF cabs too.

I'm in Margate in Kent.

Hi mate,

It's a whacking great 2x15 that's designed to be used with all valve heads, in that it's the right width (24''?) and it has an old school vibe. That said, I use it with a MoMark head and it sounds awesome. I've never tried a cab without a tweeter before, but I'm now converted (and I've been known to slap when provoked).

It can indeed. I wouldn't want to go any great distance carrying it with one hand, but as it has casters fitted, you don't need to. I seem to remember reading somewhere that it's around the 22kg mark, which seems about right. HxWxD - 1000x610x340.

Can it really be carried with one hand? What does it weigh? What are the dimensions please?

In a word, yes. I have a vintage T which has a tweeter so mine is slightly heavier than this. You look at it and see a 2x15 cab and expect it's going to be heavy. When you grab the handles on each side and lift the experience relative to that being expected is similar to lifting an empty medium sized book case. They are amazingly light and I can indeed carry mine with one hand, although the physical size of the cab makes it rather unwieldy to move in this way. It's also easy to move on the built in wheels. Just tilt it backwards and use the handle on the top to pull it along behind you. Good thing this one's in Margate otherwise I'd be straight round with cash to swap for it. Running two of these with my Trace V6 would be quite something. I'm still tempted though as I don't see many of these up for sale. Somebody please talk me out of it.

Love my vintage & like wooks would not give it up without a fight. Running it with a TE v4 & it is gert beefo (Somerset speak for awesome). This is bargainous! & yes, it is light. So light, You can frighten your band mates by feigning anger & lifting it above your head & waving it at them hulk stylee, even scares drummers!
To sum up, buy it, just buy it.
