Advice, Compressor through effect loop

I'm just looking for some advice.

What are the advantages of doing this, putting my compressor through the effect loop rather than in through the front ?

Just made the post a little simpler to read interested to what people think/do etc

If your fx loop is fully wet, then the advantage is it would suit a rack compressor as they're designed for the lower out from the fx send.
But not all loops are 100% wet.
