paul_5
Now I'm going to have to listen to Faith No More!
Me too. That's got to be Jim's worst guitar solo though…
lefrash
I use a boss mega distortion mixed with clean for a bit of dirt. I have to admit though, i very rarely use it as the nuance of the extra grit gets lost a bit in live setting. Whether it makes a difference to the listeners im not sure at all. dannybuoy
Never found one I was happy with. They all suck the low end. Billy Sheehan is right: To retain proper bass tone with a pedal, you need a dual amp/pickup rig....
I own / have owned plenty of drive pedals that but only do not suck low end, but actually increase it! Guinness21
I really like the lomenzo hyperdrive, and I like the b3k but the blend knob is crucial. For fuzz you can't look past the musket or tfr. The proco rat sounds pretty mental. I've actually been thinking about grabbing an ashdown nm2, sounds like it could be a great pedal. You could also go for something different like the dr. no effects black magic distortion?
