iamtheelvy Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Hi guys, Just interested in your opinions or suggestions. Thinking about more ambient sounds, I was looking into the Line 6 Verbzilla (particularly for the 'Octo' setting) or the Earthquaker Organizer. Any thoughts, comparisons or other suggestions? Cheers! iamtheelvy Posted January 22, 2014 Author Posted January 22, 2014 I do have a Line 6 M5 already, but wanted to save the real estate on my pedalboard! Considering that as an option though, any experience on powering an M5 off of a standard power block? Quote
Sibob Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 M5 is a 9v 500ma pedal. Pretty hefty for most power supplies. You'd also want isolated power for it. Personally I love the Organizer, love pairing it with my Mr Black Eterna Si Quote
iamtheelvy Posted January 22, 2014 Author Posted January 22, 2014 Yeah, I've got a Voodoo Labs 4x4 which has a fairly hefty output, but think it might still be pushing it... Quite interested in the Organizer... Quote
GazWills Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 I'm waiting on the EQD pitch bay, looks fantastic Quote

Anything past half of what you need will start to have gentle but adverse effects on the sound, so I'd even be wary of running it from a 600 or 700ma supply. Think of it as headroom Si Quote
iamtheelvy Posted January 22, 2014 Author Posted January 22, 2014 Agreed. I think i'll keep to the smaller pedals... Quote
