Warwick already has a custom shop version out (which I think retails for about £12k!!). Warwick has just announced details of the first 'affordable' version (made in China, although no sight of what this will sell for yet). It's apparently available from July 2014.

Suppose I'm in the 'hate it' camp, but I do find it amusing. Wouldn't buy it though. Unless I was tripping.

I'm sure it's far more playable than his last signature bass made by Traben, but it doesn't look anywhere near as pretty.

really can't see who this sort of instrument is aimed at.? £12000.00 for a very uniquely designed bass, that was inspired by a very uniquely flamboyant bassist. the only people i can see who would buy it, are collectors. maybe I'm wrong. I can get why Warwick price there stuff so high though. If Fodera can get away with it.

When I tell people I have a Warwick Star Bass ( I often just go up to total strangers in Tesco, as you do..) they think it's one of these. I twigged when someone said ," it must be difficult to play sitting down!"
