Lee Restarick
Hi All I'm pretty new to this superbly run forum and have already purchased a Genz Benz Shuttle 9.2 from Chris (Roland Rock), thanks Buddy. What is the routine for straight swaps, is it allowed and where would I post if so?
ped
Hi Lee Welcome! If you'd like to trade an item, post it in the marketplace and state the value of the item you're swapping in the price field. Let me know if I can help further and enjoy the forum! ped
Lee Restarick
Thanks Ped I see that there is a charge and I am perfectly happy to pay. With the quality of this forum that's well worth it.

Roland Rock
I'm glad the experience didn't put you off Lee! I've actually just done a straight amp swap today, and drove for an hour to meet half way, rather than put up with courier hell again :-D
Lee Restarick
Hi Chris. Glad your swap went well. Unfortunate about the courier, but was sorted in the end. By no means any fault of yours.
BassBod
I've done a few straight swaps with people here - it works fine. Only thing is to be sure of the relative values of instruments /amps etc. Doesn't have to be set in stone..but you have to know what something is worth to you. Use the feedback pages and do some research if necessary. Its usually worth it.
JazzBassfreak
Basschat is the best place to get a swappin! I used to do a lot over the bay but now I tend to use here more. Thinking of putting my Alembic 1994 Zebrawood epic up here but not sure I'll have the interest!
Len_derby
Welcome Lee. Swapping is great fun. I've found it can re-energise my playing and interest at no cost. You get to meet other lovely Basschatters too.
