silentbob Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 (edited) Bought for a project and then decided to go for a rosewood board instead. Good points - The board and frets look to be in excellent condition with almost no wear, and the back of the neck feels nice and silky smooth. Bad points - There is a rather large, but easily fillable chip at the tip of the headstock, the trussrod recess has been coloured in black with what looks like permanent marker and could do with tidying. Also the appears to be an extra tuner screwhole on the back with the sheered off screw stuck in it, although this shouldn't be a problem as you would probably have to drill new screw holes anyway. Last thing is that it has a Fecker Pretender decal applied over the varnish. This could be either a good or bad thing depending on your personal taste. Edited January 28, 2014 by silentbob

Delberthot Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 you need to copy and paste the code that has "img" next to it
Ou7shined Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Here... http://s1309.photobu...s?sort=3&page=1
silentbob Posted January 26, 2014 Author Posted January 26, 2014 Don't see anything with img. Going through photobucket and hitting the share button, it tells me to copy and paste the above.
Grangur Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 to post a picture here that's hosted on photobucket, go to view the image in photobucket, and look for the place to copy the "direct" link. Simply clicking on it does it. Then go to your post in BC. In the header of the post creation page you'll find there's an icon/button for "picture", click that. This will bring up another dialogue box with a field in it. Paste your link in there. click OK and finish your post,,,
Zenitram Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 How easy do you reckon it would be to get that decal to come off? And can you measure the heel?
silentbob Posted January 28, 2014 Author Posted January 28, 2014 Heel measures 63mm. I reckon the decal should come off with some gentle persuasion, but I have just noticed that a small area of varnish has chipped off just below the F of the word Fecker, so may just be easier to sand the whole area and give it a coat of laquer.
