Had to have a sneak peek at what settings Norman Watt-Roy was using on the SVT with an 8-10 the other week.
It sounded awesome with the Rhythm-stick clone, lots of lowend and the highs were there as well.

I think that was a stand-by DI.. it wasn't plugged into anything.. The secret is in Norms fingers and his work rate.

Not a huge amount of eq-ing there - reckon the 810 has a lot to do with it, plus as you say Don, NWRs technique and work rate.
