Midlands Bass Bash 2014 - With Pictures

I can now confirm my attendance (barring medical emergencies etc.) I'm not sure what to bring. What I'd like to bring is my self-written looper, though it still has no interface, so I'd drive it from my laptop while someone else plays it. Would it be possible to plug this into an amp brought by someone else?

Very impressive! Really looking forward to seeing this in action.

Well, two weeks to go. I'm hoping to bring my '78P to show off its new Capri Orange nitro refin, so hope it will be done in time.

Unfortunately, Alan (skelf) can't make it now. I'll definitely be harassing the AGC owners as I'm itching to try an EQ01 preamp.

Also, I have my '69er and Crown power amp for sale, so can bring them along if anyone wants to check them out.

Hi Pete,

If everyone on the list turns up, it will definitely be tight for space. However, there are invariably no-shows for these things, so we can only really know on the day.

My best advice would be to bring your gear, but if there is no room, leave it in the car. There may well be some leaving halfway through and freeing up space.

If you're nervous about leaving stuff in your car, I'd just bring the bare minimum eg one bass

Cheers

Room for one more :)? I would like to come and bring my latest build for you all to have a go on. I would prefer to bring more basses but seeing as I would be coming by train I unfortunately can't bring any more, or even an amp so hoping someone can help me out by letting me share their amp! Here is a picture of said bass plus a link to it in the build diaries.

If space is tight, then would it be socially acceptable for me to bring no basses at all? I'd bring my laptop to run my looper. But, if it was considered a bit off to bring no basses at all, I'll bring one. But, I don't have anything as newsworthy as the basses being bought by many people.

BTW: I've confirmed.

1. Si600 - The Bass Relay Baton - BC Bass Relay
2. Roland Rock - W&T Ergon 5, Glockenklang Soul/Barefaced Super Twin

It's perfectly acceptable to just turn up without a bass. I wasn't as I don't think I've got anything that everyone hasn't seen, unless a 5 string P is considered exotic, and I was going to come by bike anyway if the weather was nice :) I am now bringing the BC relay baton, hopefully I won't be taking it home with me ;)

I'll be popping along from Peterborough (if anyone needs a lift out that way, get in touch).

I'll bring my Warmoth / Status neck Jazz just in case, and can bring an acoustic image combo and / or some PJB 4b cabs if someone has the urge to try some.

I am not on that list above for some reason but I am confirming that I'll be there with a Warwick or two and GB STLMax 9.2 and cab. My friend was also hoping to come but I don't think he'll be bringing any basses.

Funny that, I disappeared off the list too. Who said Basschat was a bit cliquey eh? ;)

I didn't get added to the list but I did say I was going to pop over for this, however I'm guilty of not checking dates! I am up north with family all weekend so me and the Dingwall I wont be able to make it i'm afraid! :(
