Absolute Beginner
Hi all. Just wondered what the best strings to fit on my Epiphone Viola would be to help give it that 60's retro sound, as per that of The Beatles.....?! Many thanks. Absolute Beginner
Sorry, and strings which are receptive to the touch of a learner.....?
SlapbassSteve
I'd go with rotosound trubass(black nylon coated flats with gold silk), Paul McCartney used them on his Violin for Abbey road and they capture that 60's thump perfectly. Just don't do too many slides as they can get hot to the touch under friction haha
