skej21 Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 As the title suggests, Epiphone/Gibson are now making the popular Jack Casady signature in alpine white! It looks lovelysmd I think it's next on my GAS list! Quote
dannybuoy Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Hmm, I've always wanted to try one of these and a white one does sound nice! Quote
skej21 Posted January 27, 2014 Author Posted January 27, 2014 PICS as requested! Link for extra info :-) http://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/bass_guitars_detail.asp?stock=14012215060758 Quote
theyellowcar Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Best bass to come out of NAMM so far! Looks lovely! Quote
AndyTravis Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Limited to 500 worldwide I'd read, they've done a Noel Gallagher Union Jack Sheraton in greater numbers, think 1000 of those are happening. Gold Hardware would've been a winner on this. Quote

EssentialTension Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 (edited) It should have had white pickup and white pickguard: Edited January 27, 2014 by EssentialTension Quote
Musicman20 Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 I love white basses and guitars but that isn't as appealing as I first hoped. I want Sunburst! Quote
neepheid Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Ha, he's finally stopped keeping that one to himself. He's keeping the red one though, the crafty devil Quote
AndyTravis Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 It's a looker either way, I've not seen the red one - if they do that next time round; I'd snap one up. Will wait to see this in the flesh, I do regret selling my gold one. Quote

EBS_freak Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 I'd have to swap the knobs... they just don't look as good. :/ Want it. With 5 strings. :/ Quote

basskit_case Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 I just bought the silver-burst this weekend which is limited to 500 units. Think I prefer this one. Quote
Killer Kadoogan Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 I have a silverburst Casady. Can't say I am a fan of this white one, but to be honest I don't think I have ever looked at a white bass and thought 'I want that'. Just not my colour. Of all the currently available colours I'd still pick the silverburst, but if I could chose from the colours that have ever been available I'd go with the sunburst without a doubt. I'm not always a fan of sunburst, but for some reason it just works so well on this kind of style semi-hollowbody. Quote
spinynorman Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 They've got some strange colour ideas. I've taken the yellow pickguard off my black Casady because it looks cheap and really isn't needed. Quote
Killer Kadoogan Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 First thing I did with my Casady is remove the pick guard. Looks so much better without it. Quote
