For free: three quarters of a nearly-new set of Danny Thompson strings (E/A/G; D faulty)

I have had some unhappy times with Danny Thompson strings.

1. I got a prototype set that had a manufacturing issue which led to an aborted sale by me (I didn't notice the issue as I found them too high tension and took them off my bass very quickly - they are like Spiro Mediums but 'stiffer' to my mind)

2. I refunded the buyer and contacted the Bass Centre. They sent me replacements for three strings and I paid for a fourth to get a full new set.

3. Still too high tension for my bass, I took them off almost immediately again and sold them to new BCer elfinio (aka Frank).

4. He subsequently found the D had a winding issue and I am in process of refunding him too

I am totally fed up and don't want these bl**dy strings. If anyone wants a set of E/A/G (you can get a new D from BassCentre for £30-odd I think) please PM Frank (address here http://basschat.co.uk/user/31419-elfinio/ )
