Joebass Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 (edited) Yamaha TRB5PII maple, I have to sell this now; any interest at £800? Serial no. dates it to around 2001. 24 frets Ebony fingerboard, Piezo pick-ups in the bridge 35 inch scale 18mm string spacing Good overall condition - lots of dings/knocks, all cosmetic, not affecting playability. The worst being a hairline crack in the finish (not the wood) on the back of the neck. Runs from around the 3rd to 8th fret, about 19cm. Not that noticeable and I don't feel it when playing. I tried to photograph it but it doesn't show too clearly - the bright spot in the middle is a reflection of the light, the crack runs along the dark wood near the bottom. The knob for the treble control is missing - pot works perfectly though. Originally retailed at £2500 Been discontinued for several years and becoming increasingly rare. Recently serviced by Joe White in Surrey, He leveled/polished the frets and replaced the jack socket. Based in Wiltshire, near Swindon. Thanks for looking. Edited February 15, 2017 by Joebass

Joebass Posted February 9, 2014 Author Posted February 9, 2014 Hi Lee, Thanks for the offer but I'm only selling this to fund a Mayones Jabba. Cheers, Joe

Chris Horton Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 I still miss my old one but only sold it to buy an mtd 535 which was the next enevitable step. These trb5pii's are one of the most versatile baases tonally , especially at this price
bassmanady Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Ah this used to be mine,I agree with Chris they are versatile basses....GLWTS
Joebass Posted March 21, 2014 Author Posted March 21, 2014 Yes, it's a fantastic bass but I've got 2 of them. Looking for a nice jazz for a trade, could possibly add some cash too depending what's on offer.
