I point out this listing only because as the J&D bass threads show, this seems to be a very popular colour for basses.

Amazing how the colour perception depends on the person and the monitor :)

And the camera. And the photographer. :)

Yeah, I see this on my other monitor (@work).

Ocean Turquoise Jazz Bass, this time for sure :D

Anyway, in my "drawer" I have a lefty P-Bass neck with headstock in intense turquoise colour and rosewood fingerboard. Gonna find a decent body for that baby, it looks awesome. :)

I've just seen a TV programme about people living on Sark. One lady was swimming in the sea, which was an amazing shade of turquoise. Then the thought occurred to me that I'd better not mention this on basschat or there will be a big long conversation about exactly what word describes the bluey greeny shade of the sea water :)

Sonic Blue? There's nothing remotely sonic about that colour. Wishy-washy pastel blue maybe, but definitely not at all sonic.

hmmm, if you look at some of the other pictures in the auction, some do look more blue, in a sonic blue kind of blue indeed.

My classic player strat, in sonic blue like this:

has that sort of hue too.
