discreet Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Would it be cynical of me to suggest that the only thing 'Yamaha' about that bass is the sticker on the headstock..? Quote
alyctes Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 (edited) Why would anyone fake it? It's not as though it would be worth much - £200 max, I guess? It's obviously been brutalised, but most of the shapes are right for an RBX200 (headstock, electrics cover, neck plate). I guess it might be a fake, but it looks worth a punt to me. What am I missing? Edited February 1, 2014 by alyctes Quote

It doesn't look great to me - but as you say it obviously has been knocked about a bit. And the pics don't help much either, to be fair. Whatever it is, it's worth a tenner. But I doubt it will stay at that price. Quote
TheGreek Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Is that how much you've bid and you're confident that you"ll win it?? Quote

warwickhunt Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Certainly wouldn't think that it isn't a genuine cheapy Yamaha (were these about £110 new?) and I've given away better basses to charity... £20-£30 I reckon! Quote
