BigRedX
Interesting... but it doesn't appear to have a pickup? Also it's not exactly light. Owes a lot to the basses on this site.
budget bassist
That's very strange indeed! maybe it has a piezo pickup?
bnt
I looked at this on Friday, and came away thinking "no, no", but couldn't quite fathom why. Now I think about it, I would definitely want to hear it before I could think of buying it. With a weight of just 11lbs, I expect that the stainless steel bars are not solid, but are hollow tubes. If so, this has me thinking that there's a potential for some awkward resonances, uneven frequency response, and feedback. They'd be thinner, so they could be more likely to resonate physically, and then there would be the resonance of the hollow chamber with air in it. The bars have a tapered outside diameter, but I don't know anything about the internal shape of the tubes. I've been thinking about metal bass construction for a while, so this kind of detail intrigues me.

Ou7shined
Brilliant! I've been looking for a bass that can be played under water for some time now.
Deep Thought
I expect that the stainless steel bars are not solid, but are hollow tubes.
Certainly looks that way from the way the strings disappear after the 'bridge' saddles. What are you supposed to play it through underwater then? Who makes submersible amps? I'd have thought underwater bass players was something of a niche market. I see potential for all sorts of sub-aquatic witticisms here.
bremen
It looks like an ergonomic nightmare. What's to stop it rotating as you play it? Bloody heavy too. Still, if you have problems with your Precision floating away from you in the pool, this could be for you.
