buff
Anyone played one ? saw the guy from rival schools playing one a couple of weeks back and it sounded brilliant. A bit like a musicman but with a little extra. Loved my old musicman but the neck was just to wide for me. This one looks like its got more of a jazz neck on it. Jonny Walker
Can't go wrong with ESP...
BassBomber414
I heard Carmine Rojas play an ESP Standard Surveyor when touring with Joe Bonamassa - sounded very impressive.I take it you are aware that there is a range of basses badged LTD by ESP which are around half the price of the Standard ESP ? I've not heard these but they look a good spec for the money. The LTD has LTD on the headstock instead of ESP Edited July 4, 2008 by BassBomber414
buff
Yeah the ltd is the one i heard being played. But checking the specs of both basses it doesnt look like theres hardly any differance. Edited July 5, 2008 by buff

Jonny Walker
High end Ltd's are constructed from the same products as ESP's there just not hand made...
buff
Only difference in spec i could see was the normal esp had an ash body and the ltd had a swamp ash body.
