Twin Channel Amp for Doubling

I'm looking for a twin channel amp suitable for urb / eub and bass guitar

I've got an acoustic image Ten2 which is amazing with acoustic upright but I need more eq for EUB and I'm not too keen on the sound of bass guitar through it at volume, although fretless sounds nice.

I foolishly traded my LMK which was ok

I've tried the EA micro & doubler and couldn't get a happy sound out of either.

Has anyone got / tried the Phil Jones D600?

It's larger than some of the other options but the 5 band eq is appealing.

Or is there anything else?

As an alternative, the MarkBass Mini CMD112P (which I know you've been trying to locate for a trial) is a very versatile small combo or - for a high end pricier option - there's the Glockenlang Blue Soul head http://basschat.co.uk/topic/228079-glockenklang-blue-soul-head/page__pid__2355819#entry2355819

Is the EA too clean? A valve pedal to dirty it up may be worth trying.

Probably was too clean, but I don't rally want to use any pedals or external pre amps.

Hi Keith do you still have he Phil Jones Super Flightcase? Wouldn't that do the job?

The SFC is good with EUB & acoustic but it's only one channel, that's why I'm thing about the D600

I quite fancy the Blue Soul but I don't think it has 2 independent channels, I'll have another look at it.

I'd considered a CMD121P but again only one channel.

Has anyone used a PJB Bass buddy as an extra successfully?

Thanks for the input all

I use a PJB Suitcase which has two separate channels and I hear is great for EUB. Each channel has the usual 5 band EQ (50 hz to 12 KHz), separate input gains plus a comp/limiter.

Used with the 4B extension cab, it's 300W of uncoloured tone.

If you're ever up in tyneside feel free to try the rig out for size.

AER basscube II is fantastic, very expensive for sure, but all you need is there.

Too heavy, but thanks for the suggestion, it's led me to look into their 2 channel head which could be exactly what I'm after
