[/quote] Didn't think they'd gone bust. But how does a company like that go bust? I thought it can't be too hard to make a product and sell for a profit, especially when I would think most stuff is made to order. Or is there a factory somewhere full of funk unlimited basses? fretmeister
Even with a made to order item, you still have to pay the electricity bill in the meantime. It's not debts that kill a company on its own - it's a lack of cash flow.
Kiwi
I was surprised by the listed value of their assets. Its a shame that a company goes like this after the history its generated.
ambient
This was on Talkbass a few weeks ago. It wasn't a lot of money that they owed either, just cash-flow meaning they couldn't meet their commitments. Does possibly mean my mint Q6 will appreciate over the coming years. Very sad though, cos I'd have like a fretless Q6 to go with it.
