Dolando Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 (edited) I've decided to sell my first project bass that I finished in Amber Nitro, to fund my Alpher neck I've ordered. This body has been aged slightly, but its not over the top, just some cracking in the lacquer, and some wood dye rubbed in to give it an aged look. The black scratchplate has also had some ageing done to it. It's set up with a push/pull pot for parallel/series switching. Its drilled for standard fender bridge, and has copper shielding in the control and pickup cavities. Condition is good for an aged look body, the only issue with this is that i made the neck pocket bigger to fit a bigger neck, but then put the thinner neck back on. instead of a big gap i have glued in a couple of .06mm ash veneer to fill the gap. You cant see it when you play and doesn't really make a difference other than looks.
