Hello,

i have to realise that i don´t have enough time anymore for playing bass that i can justify having this beauty. Got two kids now, the third is on the way... And when i play for a few minutes i always take my fretted JB. So i want to sell my FBass BNF-5.

The bass is like new, there is only one mark on the downside. You can see it in one of the pictures. No more signs of use, it also feels like a new bass.
It has the ebony bridge like the Alain Caron models. For me this is the much better bridge compared to the metal one on the FBass fretless basses. I tried both. It also has an ebony finger rest/ramp between the pickups. Like Gary Willis on his Ibanez. Very nice!
For me this is still THE fretless at all, i can´t imagine a better one.

The bass comes with the original gig bag

Swamp ash body
3-piece maple neck
unlined fretless ebony fingerboard
3-band preamp, active/passive, switch
custom pickups, matching wood covers
black hardware, gotoh tuner
ebony bridge
ebony finger rest
original Fbass gig bag

I live close to Berlin, germany. I will ship where ever you want. If you have questions please PM.

Before you ask: I will make better pictures the next days

Yes Alain caron is a great player. Regarding the required skills for playing it i must say that it´s quite easy with the marks on the fretboard. Even if you are not used to play fretless you will not miss any lines for proper intonation.

Sorry for the late response. Yes the bridge is fixed. You can read about that bridge in this old thread:

Truly beautiful. I've just had one of those moments when I wish I could find some Talent F/S in the Other Musically Related Items section :(
