Bass job lot: Genz Benz amp, Squier Jazz Bass, Cort Electro/Acoustic bass, 2xsets of strings. £700 ono

Hi,

Recently I left my London-based band, amicably, and moved away. My equipment is still in their studio, and as such I'm looking to sell it as a job-lot to in order to get it out of their hair as quickly and painlessly as possibly. The studio is in Kingston-Upon-Thames.

I'm looking for £700, but open to offers. All sold as seen, everything works.

-Genz Benz Shuttle 6.2 Bass Amp. This is such a rad amp. Our contact at Gretsch recommended it and I never regretted buying it. It's RRP is about £1100. I've had it for just over a year, so it's really at the start of its life. It's played some really big venues, never been turned up past halfway, and any band who kitshared with us and used it always praised it. Condition is used, but good.

-Squier by Fender Jazz Bass, White. One of the better Squiers, has been a much better bass than expected when I bought it, and it's still going strong. Sold "as seen" in particular, as it has a couple of stickers and probably could use a fresh set of strings (see below) and a clean. Includes a very worn-in Ritter Junior gig bag, which is a touch too short for it. Also includes a lock-strap.

-Cort Electro/Acoustic Bass. Not used much, very long neck, nice sound. Batteries not included (as far as I can remember). I have a Stagg gig bag for it, as most gig bags are far too short, however one of my bandmates put it in a box with something mouldy and now the bag is covered in mould (and so, not pictured). But if you want to take it to try and get it clean, you're welcome to it.

- Strings. Two full, unopened sets of bass strings, and assorted loose ones.

If it doesn't sell to anyone here I'll auction it on eBay.

As nice as it all looks mate it needs to be in the relevant 'for sale' forum (basses, amps, other stuff)

Appreciate that mate, not sure how to sell it as a job lot then though? I don't want to split these items up, I don't have time or the inclination (or the ability, given that I'm 200 miles away) to list and price them individually. I listed it in amps as the amp is the centrepiece of the lot.

I'm happy to take it down and just list on ebay, I was referred here by a friend, is all.

Oh wait, my bad. I thought I'd put it in the For Sale section under Amps. D'oh! While I'm here, is it okay to go as a "job lot" under amps, as that's the biggest part of this?

This is the best place to sell/trade bass gear tha tI'm aware of, it has a good turnover and a wide membership so there's usually someone who wants what you've got

It will sell loads faster if it's split, if you're happy to wait longer you might get someone after the lot, you'll need to let folks know roughly where in the world/country you're based too

no probs mate, that was what I was pointing at really I'm not sure what the right bit of the forum would be but I can see your logic...if you're ever unsure about where to put stuff then drop a quick pm to one of the forum mods and they can clarify, they're decent chaps and will respond pretty quick like
