BigRedX Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Having been badly let down by the Mono M80 case which is seriously uncomfortable to wear for more than a few minutes I'd never buy another gig bag without trying it out first. Quote
Bigwan Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Really good idea. Can hear the complaints already about it not being secure enough on one shoulder to do a single trip from the car with your whole rig though... Not from me I might add! Quote
toneknob Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Well, the chocolate lab is really too cool. Is that a iGig that they've cut up for the prototype? It looks like a good idea, although I'm not sure of the benefits of carrying something really heavy on just one shoulder. The good thing about a backpack style gig bag is that the weight is evenly distributed across your shoulders. Quote
BigRedX Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 From personal experience it seems that the more protection the gig bag offers the instrument the less comfortable it is to wear on your back (and being able to carry the instrument on my back when I'm walking to gigs/rehearsals is for me the whole point of having a gig bag). Oopsdabassist Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Wasn't the retail price going to be about 200 dollars? Seems a tad OTT for a gig bag. I love the idea though. Quote
Lw. Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Looks interesting - would definitely need to try one out before spending that kind of money though! Quote
tonyclaret Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Anyone else tried these yet? I'm in the market for a single padded case. These look decent. Cay you access the guitar from the top, or do you have to lie it flat to get the bass out? Storage looks limited. Quote
