Plays great and has no issues. T serial number. Made In Japan.

Off topic a bit I know (but also a bump!), but it's quite different from my Aerodyne, in that it has fret markers, a scratch plate and different jack socket positioning. Any ideas why this is?

Could this be a Japan non export model? The description I've read about them is exactly as this one - i.e. dot markers on the fingerboard, scratchplate and chrome control plate with conventional jack socket.
