Squier Korean Precision Bass.

Black with white single ply pick guard.

Slim maple neck and fret board.

41 mm at the nut.

Neck radius 12”.

Weight 8lb 4oz.

1995 (assuming I’ve understood the serial numbering system)

Amazingly good condition. There are a couple of dings in the finish but none that have cracked the paint.
All the hardware looks great, with no signs of wear or corrosion.
Electrics function as they should.
No crackling from the pots.

A good, basic P bass.

I’ve given it a decent set up and it plays well. I’ve set the string height at the 12[sup]th[/sup] fret to just less than the thickness of a pound coin. At the 15[sup]th[/sup] fret, approx 2.8 mm on the E string. This suits my playing style with a pick. If you play with a more gentle touch, it will go lower.

Truss rod is functioning perfectly.

Intonation is good. The bridge is functioning as it should, although the saddle height adjustment screws are too long and protrude proud of the bridge. It’s a pet hate of mine but common with these models. In the past, on other basses I have either replaced with shorter screws or cut down the originals.

Asking £[s]125.00[/s] price dropped to just £115
Collection preferred, I’m in Hertfordshire.

Cash, Bank Transfer, Pay Pal (buyer to suffer pay pal fees)

I don’t have a hard case, so if posting is required I will post it with the neck removed and everything bubble wrapped in a sturdy box.

Postage via courier would be approx £15.00 but will be confirmed.

No trades thanks.

These are great basses, I had one, foolishly sold it, missed it like mad so as soon as another came along snapped it up. I use it as my main bass in one of my bands, I really like these MIK Squiers. Anyone looking for a good Precision for very good value should check this out (great condition too, Gary).

Thanks chaps.

I was surprised at how well it plays.

That looks in great condition for it's age. Do you know if it's a solid wood body or ply ? I know many of the early 90's Korean Squiers had ply body (although still managed to sound excellent !).

I had the neck off yesterday, when setting it up and fitting a shim. Should have taken the opportunity to check whether the body is ply or solid then
but I forgot.
If you're keen to have it, let me know and I'll check.

Thanks for your interest spacey.

Just checked through all my pics, thinking I had taken one showing the whole thing but it would seem that I didn't.

My pics above do show just about every detail though. :)

Let me know, if you really need the portrait shot and I'll sort it tomorrow,

I think not would help. It's difficult to piece the image together.
