'91 Squier Jazz Info + Thoughts?

Alright guys

I've had a '91 Squier Jazz for a few years now, serial no. S 91 4461

I was just wondering what you folks make of that era of Squier?

The Silver Squier Jazz and Precision basses were made in Japan in between 92 and 94. Great build and sound. Go for about £250 these days on ebay. Was yours made in Japan or Korea?

From the online Serial no. checker sites on the interwebs, I believe it's Korean..

The thing's stood me in good stead and I absolutely love it, nice few dings, warm sound and so on

Korean Squiers are great, I had one, stoopidly sold it, so snapped up the next one that came along. I use it as my main bass in one of my bands, imo they are too good to be relegated to backup status.

You've got the bass, what are your thoughts?

If it's not a Squier II an S9 serial number indicates it was made around '89/90 by Samick. It should have a date on the neck.

[attachment=154627:002.jpg]I had a S9 MIK Squier Jazz about 11 years ago wish I'd kept it, it was a really nice bass. Still got my S9 Squier Precision though.
