Annoying Twit
I look at bitsas such as this defretted Jazz Bass and think that they could be really nice instruments that play and sound fantastic. Or they could be unusable unsalvageable rubbish. How on earth would a potential buyer know?
LukeFRC
either - value it on the value of some its parts... or by who put it together - theres some folk on here you would trust to come up with the good stuff
Bassassin
I doubt you can go too far wrong bolting a Fender copy together, but I'd be very wary of splintery amateur defrets patched up with epoxy. If it was a factory fretless neck it'd be worth a watch, but I wouldn't touch it with that defret job. Jon.
