ambient Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 I'm mainly after reverb and delays, I hate distortion and overdrive on bass, possibly modulation effects too and some filters. Definitely not interested in the amp simulations that most seem to have. I'd like to be able to switch things around, and play about with presets which is why I'm after a multi effects unit, rather than separate pedals. Is something like a TC G major what I should be looking for. I'm really into the Steve Lawson, Michael Manring vibe thing. I do a lot of writing on my laptop, soundscapes etc, and want to get into a similar thing on bass. Thanks . Quote
Lozz196 Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 From hearing our guitarists TC Multi Effects - he had the big silver unit that looked like a flight deck, and now has a smaller unit - I`d definitely check them out. Really good, never too "in your face" they really add to the sound, rather then swamp it. Quote
Wooks79 Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 I always liked my Boss GT10B when I had it, but always fancied an M13 Quote
winterfire666 Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 the tc nova sysem is excellent, if i had the spare cash i would upgrade to one in a flash, having said that i got a zoom b9.1 when hey were goin cheap and i cant really fault it, i dont use drive or amp sims and found the delays, reverbs, modulations filters etc do sound great and that z pedal is great for wierd stuff plus its not noisy and the pedal synth feature is handy too. still want a tc though Quote
