Not sure why they say it is unplayable, just wonder if it could be used?

I'm all for cheap stuff - but cheap metal parts are the worst - I would rather have the worst bits of plywood in the world - a neck that splintered and frets in the wrong places than the internal anguish and frustration that stripped screw heads cause me.

I think that these instruments have either arrived damaged or have dodgy necks in some way. It would probably cost them more to pay someone to remove the parts than to just put it up for sale

It's not such an amazing bargain. It only costs £78 for a full working one.

So you may as well pay the extra 40 and have a "good" neck, body and electrics.

Edit: you could always order a set of Seymour Duncans in the same order

I bought this a few weeks ago and it's a fantastic bass, great pups and neck and it's lovely to play :)
