LukeFRC
I'm all for cheap stuff - but cheap metal parts are the worst - I would rather have the worst bits of plywood in the world - a neck that splintered and frets in the wrong places than the internal anguish and frustration that stripped screw heads cause me. Thunderbird
I am guessing there are no pickups or electrics in the bass
Delberthot
I think that these instruments have either arrived damaged or have dodgy necks in some way. It would probably cost them more to pay someone to remove the parts than to just put it up for sale Edited February 11, 2014 by Delberthot
Grangur
It's not such an amazing bargain. It only costs £78 for a full working one. http://www.thomann.d...nton_mb222t.htm So you may as well pay the extra 40 and have a "good" neck, body and electrics. Edit: you could always order a set of Seymour Duncans in the same order Edited February 11, 2014 by Grangur
madshadows
I bought this a few weeks ago and it's a fantastic bass, great pups and neck and it's lovely to play http://www.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_hbb1975_na.htm#bewertung John
yorks5stringer
Yes they look nice, just wonder if the extra £15 for the J&D ones from DVD247 that gives you a coloured body is worth it?
jimbaby
I bought a short scale jazz bass from DV247 which I never realised was out of stock, a quick phone call and money showed back in my account the next day.
