Fender experts required,need info my 72 Geddy neck

I have just recently purchased a 72 Fender jazz with maple neck,black block inlays,original frets.Body is black over a sunburst finish? Read loads on forums and the neck dates changed in 71 to an 8 digit but some necks in 72 had the normal day month year as this does which makes sense but has any one seen Fenders with a SPECIAL stamp also. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I hope this link works.!!
